چکیده

Regarding mineral resources, there is ambiguity around concepts such as scarcity, rarity, criticality and depletion associated assessment methods. This paper investigates three method groups: life cycle impact (LCIA), sustainability The aim to clarify how these groups relate their potential roles in a comprehensive resource availability assessment. study finds that modeling approaches practical implementations are sometimes misaligned with what they assess. results similarities between methods from different groups. Some LCIA-methods include elements which belong assessment, could explain some of the ambiguity. Direct Te Mining: Resource Availability and Impact on CdTe PV Life-Cycle Assessments

The availability of Te is constrained by the production rate of its main parent compound (copper) and a debate is going on related to the potential supply of Te for very large scale CdTe PV deployment. However, recent investigations point to the existence of Te-rich ores in several places of the world that are likely to allow economic recovery of Te, independently of the production of copper. C...

Sustainability Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Of Household Food Waste Management in Urban Areas

Background: Food waste is a very serious problem, it is proven that Indonesia is the second largest producer of food waste in the world. A limited waste management system will result in a decrease in environmental quality such as air pollution, water pollution, and soil pollution. So far, the waste management system is only limited to reducing waste generation. Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is a ...
